Carla Mereu Keating

Carla Mereu Keating is Research Associate in the Department of Film and Television of the University of Bristol (UK). Carla has held several teaching and research posts, including a British Academy Post Doctoral Fellowship (2016-19) and a visiting Research Fellowship at the Centre for the Study of Cultural Memory, School of Advanced Studies, University of London (2015-16). She is the author of The Politics of Dubbing (Peter Lang, 2016) and co-author of Film Studios: Architecture, Innovation, Labour, Politics in Britain, France, Germany and Italy (1930-1960) (Bloomsbury/BFI, forthcoming). She is interested in the industrial, socio-political, and material issues which underpin the production and circulation of film and media across national boundaries.
